Upscaling Images
Upscaling and Facelifting are two techniques that boost the fidelity of an image by using various algorithms and A.I. models, such as automatic facial detection. Facelift is used when boosting images of people, though may create softer skin, like the “beauty” mode on certain smartphones. An image can only be upscaled once, however additional fidelity and detail is possible by masking problem areas with the Generative Fill tool.
Step 1: Upload Your Image
Select the upscale and facelift tool. Select an image you want to edit from my images, my collections, or upload a new image. The image will appear on the screen.
Step 2: Choose your parameters
• Once your image is uploaded, select the 2X or 4X option to double the resolution of the image.
• Check the box that says “enhance faces” to correct faces within the image. This can make faces appear more real, reduce age spots, and improve eye detail.
• Select Upscale to submit your image for rendering
